Inter-Canyon is proud to sponsor an exciting NEW service as of 2023! Mountain Area Community Paramedics are now accepting requests from our friends and neighbors to provide supportive medical services to those people in the district that could benefit from a helping hand. Community Paramedics are available to come to your home to assist with various things such as:
- Home safety assessments
- Scheduled wellness checks
- Ability to refer to community partners
- In home blood work
- Wound care
- Management of IVs, catheters, and other medical devices
- Assistance with complex health issues
- Hospice support
- Medication reconciliation and monitoring
- 12-lead EKGs
- Nutrition guidance
Although we work closely with our medical directors, Dr. Sam Smith and Dr. Zach Brown, we are also able to function as an extension to your primary care provider to assist with ongoing needs. We all need care at some point in our lives. For some, the biggest barrier to receiving care is accessing it. MACP will work to break that barrier and bring care to those who need it most, where they need it most. Visits are free and can help avoid an ambulance ride or hospital visit!
