About Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District

The Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District is located southwest of Denver in the foothills of Colorado. Organized in 1956, Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District. With a first due response area of 52 square miles the firefighters of ICFPD respond to an average of 350 calls per year.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District website. Each and every member of Inter-Canyon is committed to caring for the residents and visitors of our district. Our members' values are deeply rooted in service before self - always serving with pride, honor, and integrity. For many of us, this is our calling.

Our dedicated members provide professional services while always striving for excellence. As an All-Hazards district, we respond to incidents that include Emergency Medical, Wildland Firefighting, Structural Fire, Technical Rescue, and Hazardous Materials emergencies. Our Volunteers and Administration are committed to providing for the safety, health, and wellness of the community we serve.

I am incredibly proud and honored to be the Chief at Inter-Canyon. I am humbled by the opportunity to work with the amazing men and women that comprise our team of responders. My commitment is to ensure a healthy (physical and mental) work environment for our members - so that they can provide qualified and timely emergency and medical services to our community.
